Port Melbourne SC & Albert Park SC are proud to announce our Community Alliance.

This will be introduced for the upcoming 2019 season, commencing with U12 and U13 community teams.

Our collective aim is in creating an overflow of talented junior players.

Coaches will be able to improve these juniors at APSC with the eventual outcome being that they will be of an improved standard and hopefully be in contention for PMSC NPL the following season.

Senior 2019 Signing – Sam Ford

Sam Ford 2019 Signing

Port Melbourne Sharks are pleased to announce the signing of Sam Ford for 2019. At 20 years of age Sam will fill our second foreign visa position. This young highly talented striker was scouted and signed for his boyhood club Ipswich Town at just 15. He made his debut for the reserve team at 15. Just before turning 16 played his first game at the first team stadium against Tottenham Hotspur scoring 2 goals in a 2-2 draw.

The following season Sam was top goal scorer for the under 16s. Then Sam was offered a scholarship at 16.
Signing his first professional contract at 17 he transferred to West Ham United. Scoring a last minute winner on his u18s debut for West Ham. He also scored on his reserve team debut for West Ham. Subsequently winning the Premier League 2 Cup in his first season at West Ham. Sam was then part of a winning promotion via the play offs in the Premier league 2 in only his second season.

A player that surely will be exciting to watch in NPL VIC in 2019.

Senior 2019 Signing – Liam Ward

Liam Ward 2019 Signing

Port Melbourne Sharks are pleased to announce the signing of Liam Ward for 2019.

Liam was part of our U20’s in 2018 with performances that caught the eye of Senior Coach Adam Piddick. At 17 years of age, Liam debuted for the Seniors coming off the bench in the FFA Cup round 5 tie against George Cross with an assist. Liam came on as a substitute in 7 more Senior League games including the elimination final against Avondale.

We look forward to seeing this young gun play more games in 2019 and beyond for the Sharks.

Senior 2019 Signing – Michael Eagar

Port Melbourne Sharks are pleased to announce the re signing of Michael Eagar for 2019. Joint best and fairest winner for 2018 at the Sharks, Michael enjoyed a great year in his defensive role showing composure and great capacity on the ball.

Our 2018 Vice Captain is a very experienced player in NPL VIC and is definitely one of the best defenders in the competition. We look forward to his good form continuing in 2019.

Senior 2019 Signing – Daniel Clark

Danial Clark 2019 Signing

Port Melbourne Sharks is pleased to announce the re signing of Daniel Clark.

This 28 year old experienced Midfielder showed great endurance and consistency as a Midfielder for the Sharks this year. Scoring critical goals, who can forget his goal in the FFA Cup qualifying round this year.

Daniel is looking forward to a 2nd season with the Sharks and is very much hungry for success.
