The technical department and all coaches are committed to providing Port Melbourne players a clear development pathway.  Through a number of programs and processes the club will provide opportunities and manifest improvement plans in the Talented Player, Skill Development and Player Progression programs as well as International Tours.

Port Melbourne SC is also committed to a coaching pathway to ensure not only are our players reaching their potential, but so are our coaches. The Technical Department will continue to support, develop and review all coaches and players at the club.  Through this monitoring, engagement and education, coaches and players will be given every opportunity to reach their full potential and reach their footballing goals.

Adam Piddick: New Head Of Football

Port Melbourne SC would like to formally introduce our current senior coach, Adam Piddick as our Head Of Football.

Adam has achieved outstanding results during the 2018 season with our senior team making the NPL finals and FFA Cup Round of 32.

This addition will increase the level of expertise in our football program, developing a holistic football pathway from MiniRoos through to senior levels.

Port Melbourne Sharks is pleased to announce the return of our Captain Alan Mulcahy for 2019.

We are excited to announce that Alan will be involved as a player and also the role of assistant Senior Coach along side Adam Piddick. One of the most experienced NPL players in VIC we know that Alan will bring his high playing intensity style & top class leadership into his coaching role.

On accepting the role Alan said “I am delighted to be back with the Sharks for another season as we look to build the momentum from the 2018 season”
